Our current direction is to develop an inventory. This means we are in the process of editing and reviewing several manuscripts. As we work toward our goal of inventory we will conduct contests for prisoners, their families and others involved. We hope these competitions encourage writers and artists affected by prison through recognition of their achievement.

The term “Shot Caller” is used in many prisons. It refers to the person responsible for “calling the shots” for a prison organization or gang. This person makes literally life and death decisions for the organization and is the liaison between other groups or organizations on the yard.
